Why we built the paid tier
Free translation is fine for a word or two. It falls apart the moment a real conversation starts: a pharmacist explaining a dose, a landlord walking you through a lease, a grandparent you have never been able to speak with directly. Those conversations need continuous listening, fast turns, natural voices and a fallback for when the signal drops — and all of that costs money to run every single second it is used.
So we split it honestly. Basic stays free and useful, with daily caps that keep it sustainable. Premium removes the caps and hands you the full pipeline, because the people who need it most are having long conversations, not looking up single words.

Questions before you upgrade
What do I get with Premium that Basic does not include?
Premium removes the daily caps and unlocks live two-way conversation, unlimited translated chat and group chat, camera translation, every offline phrase pack and higher-quality spoken voices.
Can I try Parlivon before paying?
Yes. A Basic account is free and needs no card. It includes text translation, device-voice playback, a few camera scans a day and five translated chat messages a day.
How does the signup and payment work?
Choose Premium, create your account if you do not have one, then pay by card in a secure checkout window. Your plan is active as soon as the payment clears.
Can I cancel or change plans later?
Yes. You can switch between Standard, Premium and Family or cancel at any time from the pricing screen. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for.
What if two or three people in my household need it?
Family gives Premium features across up to three accounts on one subscription, which is cheaper than three separate Premium plans.
Machine translation can be imperfect. Parlivon is a travel and everyday communication aid — do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or emergency decisions.
